These are the limits for the size of objects and archives to be scanned for the presence of threats:
Maximum object size (bytes)
In this field you can enter number representing the maximum size of objects. The given antivirus module will then scan only objects of smaller size than the specified value. It is recommended to leave the default value; usually there is no reason to modify it. Any changes should be done by advanced users who may want to exclude larger objects from scanning.
Maximum scan time for object (sec.)
Defines the maximum time value for scanning of an object. If there is a user-specified value, then the anvivirus module will stop scanning of the current object regardless of whether the scan has been completed or not.
Archive nesting level
Specifies the maximum depth of antivirus scanning of archives. It is recommended to leave the default value 10; usually there is no reason to modify it. If scanning of an archive is prematurely terminated for that reason, the archive will remain unchecked.
Maximum size of file in archive (bytes)
Here you can specify the maximum file size for files contained in archives (when they are extracted) that are to be scanned. If scanning of an archive is prematurely terminated for that reason, the archive will remain unchecked.
